New Years Day 2007
Plenty of heart & fun at the
non-race "Resolution Run" in Williamsville
- 110 runners "braved" a balmy 48 degree day. Thanks to all who organized and
supported: Michele Bauman, John Lintner and others who "got the ball rolling";
the Amherst Police did a great job of providing a safe course with cones and
plenty of Officers; John Beishline & Tom Haney - the bullhorn, gun start and
even run times added an "official"
feel; the management of the Village Glen Tavern for gracious hospitality
- and even $30 gift cards for first male & female runners (Annie Pyrak first
overall); Tim Zelasko for the free t-shirts from the 2006 "Feel The Spirit" run
(let's support him this year - and no October surprise).
