Checkers Downhill Mile Q & A

  • Which race should I enter?
    • While an individual is free to participate in any one race we suggest that:
    • Men who can run a mile in 5:30 or less choose the elite race for men.
    • Women who can run a mile in 6:00 or less choose the elite race for women.
  • What is the 1 mile fun run?
    • The one mile fun run is designed for people who want to get their exercise before the races and enjoying a summer night watching the races and enjoying the party.
    • Highly recommend for young children.
    • Participants get a finishing time and may choose to participate as a member of a team.
